Attention Magadonians:
If you are planning to participate in any violence as a result of Trump's indictment and subsequent legal proceedings, you might want to think again - in the same way your fellow 'patriots' currently in prison as a result of their activities on Jan-6 wish they'd thought twice before acting.
The Politicians(R) who are inciting you to violence will not be joining you in whatever you have planned. They will be sitting comfortably in their offices, watching you being arrested on TV. They will then issue statements decrying your treatment - a sure vote-getter in some quarters - and that is where their concern for your welfare will end.
They will not be paying your bail. They will not be paying your legal fees. They will not even bother with the usual 'thoughts and prayers', because your mission to provide them with talking points to raise campaign funds will already have been accomplished.
There is nothing you can do to stop the wheels of justice that are already in motion. So do yourselves a favour and refuse to put yourselves in legal jeopardy for the sake of cowardly Politicans(R) who want you to do the dirty work they would never dream of participating in themselves.

(6,847 posts)These 'worst of Republicans' dream of actually participating in these "out" actions. They also wish they had the nerve to perform, wishing they were more than just cowards and office bullies.

(111,110 posts)It used to be called Fort Benning.
There are a lot of military types that support Trump in that area. He wants his people to show support for him, with violence, preferably.
A criminal like Trump is always thinking one step ahead.

I/6 was a different situation because Trump used the emotional investment of Republican voters in the election outcome to incite them to violence. The 1/6 was less about keeping Donald Trump in power and more related to an effort to keep Republicans in power through any means necessary.
Due to all of the arrests related to 1/6, many Trump supporters are afraid to go protest because they dont think that he is worth getting arrested for.
If there is a big crowd at the Miami courthouse on Tuesday to support Trump, there is already evidence that they were planted there by the Republican Party.
