Use to think Katy Perry was just another pretty face. Little did I expect....

Last edited Mon Nov 12, 2012, 10:57 PM - Edit history (1)

her to be a terrific Obama supporter showing up at a lot of events, Wearing an
adorable Obama dress singing.......But then there was this and I was hooked.

I'm sure most of you have seen, but I just watched again.....Notice
her sincerity, especially at the end. I will be her fan forever!

I've been juried for characterizing monica lewinsky as "fat".

Don't let it get to you. It is well meaning but sometimes a little silly.

I know she's pretty devout to her Christian faith. There was a rumor last year her mother was trying to fix her up with Tim Tebow.

have to do with Katy Perry reaching out to a little girl with Autism? You think she wouldn't have if she wasn't a F-N Christian? OMG, Katy & Tim Tebow would be worst than what's his name...the idiot British comedian! Anyway, Katy has been a very strong & long time supporter of our President Obama!

I have always been impressed with her stage presence, vocal range and general strong performance skills. And I have found her songwriting to be quite nuanced and melodic.

Unabashed Katy fan!

A little late on my post - health stuff really getting me down. Anyway, I feel the same way as you do. Sting does good things, but I wouldn't buy an album (showing my age there) regardless. One of my fav quotes from who knows is "Today's music is a product, yesterday's was an art." I showed my husband the video and he still doesn't like her - not as a person since of course he doesn't know her, he just doesn't think she's talented. Can we blame Madonna?
