Now with Broadwell's potential knowledge of classified informaiton about Benghazi and the recent development tonight in which the FBI raided Broadwell's home, the non-issue of Benghazi all of a sudden has legs...but for all the wrong and (IMO) nonsensical reasons.
Since the Repukes were hammering on this bullshit non-issue leading up to the election, I can only guess they will reach as-yet-unseen apoplectic heights over it and they will be pointing their bony skeletal fingers not at Petraeus and not at Broadwell, but at the President.
So if for some reason you feel unusually compelled to defend Petraeus or Broadwell I, a self-described critic of the President with a LibGrudge against him the size of Manhattan, will assume that you would rather the finger of blame fell on the President.
So don't do that.
Petraeus is done and possibly toast, Broadwell is possibly toast. Heck, people in the FBI and maybe the CIA get spankings, too.
But don't make the mistake of defending anybody who gets wrapped up in this just because they happened to be related to the administration. You're not doing Obama any favors. Petraeus and Broadwell are apparently due career ablation.
Let that happen and as they fall away, so will Benghazi.
