Step One:

Stop freaking out about what you think might be in a proposal. Get a grip and wait until we see details.

Step Two:

Now that there is a proposal on the table we need to get behind it. Grown-ups know you can't get everything you want.

Step Three:

That proposal was passed a week ago. Why are you crying about spilled milk?

But there are DU face-palms aplenty over the fact that the election was only a week ago and some malcontents want to talk about policy.

Those smug face-palmers may actually not be aware that the schedule is for a lot of stuff will be decided before inauguration day.

Obama had a big meeting today with diverse voices to feel out their priorities... because he also doesn't know the election was only a week ago, I guess.

"If Obama cared what you think he would have invited you to the meeting!!!"
