I mean, this is the perceptive crowd that worked out that J6 was patriotic tourists with 'Love in their hearts' (TFG) wanting to actively participate in the democratic process. -sarcasm
[SPOILERS]
At the end of movie Barbie chooses to live in the real world, with all the patriarchy, tears, and death that comes with it, over Barbie Land, where every day is perfect, and Barbie dolls can be whatever they want to be. Barbie makes that decision after her mother, Ruth Handler (the inventor of Barbie) shows her the joys - of being a child, of growing up, of love, and (gasp) of being a parent.
The real world is anything but perfect, but, as Ruth says to Barbie,We mothers stand still so our daughters can look back to see how far they have come.
And the RW thinks Barbie devalues mothers and family. Of course they do. Their family values are little kids doing active shooter drills. But anything - anything that threatens fragile male egos, even comedy, must be woke beyond belief.

Picture also how the bottom 20% would look on that scale.

(1,727 posts)And that's completely from an acting standpoint. For a character that was supposed to be raised by Vulcans and trained in their ways...she goes nuts emotionally every chance she gets!
She overacts to the point that it takes you out the scene. Other than that, I like that multiple facets of LGTBQ people are represented, and not in a wishy washy way that previous ST shows did.

Great beings return to this earth to help others instead of lounging in some boring old heaven.
Reminds me of that other Buddhist movie: Groundhog Day

One gigantic lesson Phil learns is that there is no need to "escape to some other place", since he has, through his own human revolution, transformed a dismal and mundane place (Punxsutawney) into a land of tranquil light, an endless cycle of dissatisfaction, disdain and ignorance into endless opportunities for selflessness, compassion and wisdom. 𑁍
