Pat Robertson On General Petraeus, Paula Broadwell Affair: 'He's A Man'

Television evangelist and ultraconservative Pat Robertson doesn't think General David Petraeus should be condemned for his affair with writer Paula Broadwell. After all, she is "an extremely good looking woman" and "he's a man."

of marriage or sacred vows very seriously. He's already said you can cut your spouse loose and find someone new if the spouse has dementia. Sort of like scraping a piece of gum off your shoe, apparently.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/17/us/pat-robertson-remarks-on-alzheimers-stir-passions.html

" With his suggestion this week that a man whose wife was far “gone” with Alzheimer’s should divorce her if he wanted a new companion, the television evangelist Pat Robertson stumbled into treacherous moral terrain, setting off storms of criticism and questions about a disease that shatters lives and families.

Other conservative Christian leaders were swift to condemn his remarks as a call to violate the biblical sacrament of marriage."...(more at link)

Plus I'm pretty sure the devil supposedly tempted Job and Jesus in all kinds of ways. What, did Pat think Satan was going to send an unattractive lady to try to compromise the wonderful General? Because that's what this is about, right? Satan lying in wait, springing female traps for the poor innocent men. It couldn't possibly be a narcissistic guy succumbing to his basic urges and disrespecting/humiliating his wife.
