(24,430 posts)of the size of the pupils. His eyes are blue, but you can't tell from the picture.
My pupils are larger than average, and have been all my life. In my case, it has nothing to do with drugs. But you can still see the irises.
I once worked in an optical office. I have seen many eyes close up. Trump's pupils look dilated to me.

(29,113 posts)I am a registered nurse. I've done hundreds of neurological examinations to include persons on all kinds of substances. There are photos and footage of Trump where his pupils are like saucers. This is not one of them.

(3,541 posts)I love that you picked up on it too.
For the stare to really project menace, you have to look angry, indifferent, or amused. Trump looks scared. You can see it in his eyes. So it doesnt make him look as badass as he wanted.

(2,541 posts)Ive never felt this primal urge to punch my phone like I have w/ other humans at times but looking at the mug shot of DT makes me want to do just that.
Hey DT -🖕U POS SOB even if you do some how manage to weasel your way out of the accountability you so desperately deserve this image will always remain forever in the internets. It will follow you like an Albatross around your neck for the rest of your pathetic life.
Congratulations you always want to point out how tremendously beautiful, like nothing else in history you are in your never ending diatribes
well now you have truly succeeded. You will forever be the only person to ever phuck up so monumentally (except for possibly, Americas so called mayor, you phucked him good). I mean on a scale unheard of - 70+ felony charges, 4 to 5 indictments all while you were President of these United States you phucking idiot where everything is basically handed / catered to you. In that world you managed to be the same phucked up narcissist youve always been and if you ever doubt this all you need to do is look at that photo.
In the 1530s in a city called Münster 3 men were delivered their sentences for a coup they were part of in that city
Standing in front of all Americans on national TV you took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. You knowingly broke that oath and willingly subverted our governing to benefit
You
not the Constitution not the Country nor its Citizens
You
for that you deserve no less then what those 3 men were given. Over 1.1million + Americans died while you thought only of you, you actually deserve much worse

(51 posts)I had exactly the same thought about the Kubrick stare, and Alex from A Clockwork Orange was the first thing to come to mind. maybe it was the "orange".
He's had weeks to prepare for this mugshot, and he is so vain that a lot of thought will have gone into what expression to have. He knows that this image is going to follow him for the rest of his life (or at least until one with an orange jumpsuit becomes available).
Certainly he will have had will PR advice and it wouldn't surprise me if there had been a focus group (given that they went so far as to issue a fake mugshot in one of their fundraising messages weeks ago). He will have been pouting at himself in the mirror for days to get the best look. He obviously wanted "angry". Maybe the head-forward posture hides his double chin.

(3,108 posts)"two eye personalities" -- one is fierce, one is unsure, possibly fearful. Has to do with facial asymmetry. As I look at this pic, I see his left eye (right to the viewer) is the unsure eye; the other is his fierce/angry eye. At his age it's etched into his face and it's particularly revealing. He's a scary dude.
