Donald Trump said in a sworn deposition that he was too tied up with saving the world from a nuclear holocaust to have oversight of his company and commit alleged fraud.
A transcript of the former presidents seven-hour April interview with the New York attorney generals office as part of a civil fraud case against him and his company was unsealed Wednesday.
When grilled about his role at the Trump Organization while he was in the White House, Trump said his role was gone. So you were too busy for the company? Trump was asked. In a way, yeah, he answered. He went on to say he considered the presidency the most important job in the world, saving millions of lives.
I think you would have nuclear holocaust, if I didnt deal with North Korea, he continued. I think you would have a nuclear war, if I werent elected. And I think you might have a nuclear war now, if you want to know the truth.

(4,165 posts)They have at most 50 and thats a really high estimate in my opinion. Probably in the range of 10 to 25 kilotons. No telling how reliable they are.
Their delivery systems are spotty at best. Most would probably have to be delivered by aircraft.
Are they dangerous, yes. But to think if North Korea uses one, the rest of the planet is going jump in and start launching thousands of warheads is ridiculous.
We are talking about a country that cannot feed its own people.

Subsequently, if I want the truth, I listen to what you say, then understand that the truth is the exact opposite of that.
The fool did nothing to stop North Korea from expanding its nuclear capabilities. He allowed them to become more dangerous.

(3,498 posts)Q: Mr. Trump, are you currently the person with ultimate decision-making authority for the Trump Organization?
A: No.
Q: Who would that be?
A: My son Eric is much more involved with it than I am.
Poor Eric -- so desperate for paternal approval, and dear old Dad threw him under the bus....
