A pleasant blast from the past (President Clinton spanking Fox News)

I got to thinking about this video after Obama's press conference yesterday.

I'm sure that over 90% of the people on DU have seen this, but for the small percentage that haven't, and the others who would like to revisit it, here is Part 1 of 3. The other two parts are in the sidebar. Watch how an intelligent, forceful, patriotic and passionate President takes control of an interview and bends the interviewer to his will when the questioning gets out of line.

It starts out well enough, then devolves a few minutes in. By the end of it, Wallace is looking for the door. Clinton is leaning in his face, poking him on the knee, and staring lasers at him while he buries him in mountains of truth about the state of affairs in the world and the state of Fox News.

&feature=related

Obama is a bit more reserved, but I think he brings this same passion in his own way, and I respect him dearly for that. We saw some of that fire yesterday. Liars and mudslingers need to be called out this way, every time.

when he was on Meet the Press. But time has a way of softening things, maybe he was always a jerk.

Regardless, I think they inject all employees with an "asshole" virus on their first day at work. I'm sure Chris Wallace was no exception.

I even used to enjoy Greta Van Susteren to some degree before she went to Fox. I was so disappointed when she agreed to have cosmetic surgery done because she didn't have "that Fox look." But now she's just another babbling degenerate, regurgitating right-wing propaganda.
