(65,035 posts)Even the social pollsters are ignoring the fact that Obama is NOT running yet. There are no speeches or ads specifically pointing out the foibles of his potential opponents.
No matter who the nominee is for the R's, it will be easy to paint them as extremists and hang the blame due the do-nothing Congress on the R candidate.
If it's 50 to 45 now, it will only widen when the dems go on the offensive.

(31,706 posts)National polls mean nothing as we have 50 separate elections...these numbers are purely for the pundits to bump their gums about.
I'm more interested in polls from states such as Ohio, Florida, North Carolina and other "battleground" states that is where this battle will be fought. If Democrats turn out in November, Mittens or any rushpublican nominee is toast...
