Poll: Haley catches DeSantis for second place in Iowa

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley are tied for second place with 16% each. In August, DeSantis was sitting at 19% in the poll, while Haley was at just 6%.

“You just have [Haley] rising. You have DeSantis kind of holding on for second place” pollster J. Ann Selzer, president of Selzer & Co., which conducted the survey, told the Des Moines Register. “But both of them are on ground that you could only describe as shaky compared to the solid ground that Donald Trump stands on.

“If anything, he’s showing improvement.”

The Democratic National Committee sent two emails within 20 minutes of each other Monday morning attacking Haley, who Monday filed to appear on the primary ballot in her home state of South Carolina.

If Trump drops out or isn't allowed to run, she IMO is the biggest threat to Biden.

... is mediocre. What is she going to run against with President Joe Biden? His good economy and renewed international respect?

Let alone the hard-core misogynists and racists in the TFG wing of the GOP won't be anxious to vote for her.

63% of voters disapprove of his handing of the economy, while only 32% support it. It's something that is being worked on, thankfully.

As for international respect, yes he has it, but sadly voters aren't agreeing.

But from everyday seeing and talking to people, the economy is not viewed as booming. Just from what I've seen. Your experiences may be different, as I'm in NYC.
