And the Israelites took over the Promised Land only by slaughtering the Canaanites. But I have no idea how this relates to today's heartbreaking headlines

The Canaanites are the modern Lebanese, and Jews are also pretty closely related genetically.






Bible says Canaanites were wiped out by Israelites but scientists just found their descendants living in Lebanon.

I had no idea who all these people were. That's college level unless you are (indoctrinating) the children.
