When Mr. Burns tried to block out the sun, Smithers drew a line and resigned.

He was also way more creative--in a good way--writing a musical about Malibu Stacy, decades before the Barbie movie.

Smithers has so much more character and morals than Santos. And what does it say that a cartoon character is more worthy of respect than this travesty of a politian?
