Josh Paul resigns from State Dept over sending arms to Israel

Josh Paul resigned from the State Dept over sending arms to Israel. “I have heard from actually so many hundreds of colleagues at this point who support what I did,” he says. “They are finding what is happening both a moral disaster and a policy disaster for the United States.”

11. He worked with the PA at one point. (Probably not during Trump)

He kept a resignation letter with him 24/7 and was afraid he would need it. Keep in mind, Trump wasn't dropping 2 ton bombs every single day on Gaza.

I've honestly never seen anything like this. Even Vietnam wasn't this bad

He is all over the place in that article, alluding to his misgivings with what we were doing in Iraq, but had no problem being involved or moving into the PM position. Over a million people were killed in the Iraq War based on a lie.

He alludes to OSLO, but neglects why that fell apart, or the corruption of the PA misappropriating funds intended for the Palestinians.

He says October 7th was bad, but sending arms to Israel is wrong in the aftermath. He doesn’t even mention Iran,, and the weapons they are sending to Hamas and hezbolah.

For someone who is supposed to be an “expert” in the region, I am unimpressed by his knowledge in the area.

“Viet Nam was never this bad”?

Where were you? Were you of draft age with a low draft number?

Haven't read the article yet

Keep in mind, Trump didn't do much of anything. He (More like we) kinda got lucky that there was not to much overseas drama when he was president.

That said, I’m glad he opposed military aid to Israel.
