xPost from V&M: Stuart Varney and I discuss the merits of a Carbon Tax on Fox News' Your World

Stuart Varney and I discuss the merits of a Carbon Tax. While a Carbon Tax is normally a regressive tax, can it be structured in a way that doesn't hurt the poor and middle class?

Believe it or not, the concern of how this might hit the poor and middle class is a real one, but like most other things, it can be architected in a way that does not hit the poor or middle class.

is a real issue. It's really shocking to me. If you dont believe climate change is real, then you would think that this is all about grabbing more revenue and that is where they are coming from about this.

Thanks for the expression of support!

I actually don't even mind if there is a bit more tax to pay (I know they will try to shield people--but even so I am willing to pay a bit more for a cleaner environment).

Fingers crossed that this happens!

oooh and if the Republicans actually propose it--the Freepers are going to flip out--what an added bonus
