Poll: who would your state vote for if trump cant be on your states ballot?

This is a hypothetical choice where SCOTUS allows each state to determine who is qualified to be on its ballot but makes no determination on qualification to hold the office. So he is on some ballots but not others.

The GOP then places a "Bernie Sanders" like candidate on their ballots in blue states that have removed trump, or arrange some equally appealing third party candidate to appear on the ballot.

Which way do you think your state would go given all Republicans would be messaged to vote for third party bro candidate?

Stinky isn't on the ballot. Nobody is under national pressure to vote (unless they they think, which is hard). Turnout will be hard.

If Chris Christie is too liberal for them, there's zero chance of a liberal candidate emerging from the GOP.

Besides, there are still other people running who would be on the ballot. The only way your hypothetical works is if Trump's the only one running. GOP voters aren't going to nominate a liberal over one of the current other candidates.

They do it during primaries all the time.

The scary scenario is a rat f*, where the Republicans flock to a third party candidate just out of spite, and we have a bunch of protest voters adding to them costing biden the state.
