Will E.J.C. ever see any of the money? Let's review the case of Alex Jones.

He lost a similar verdict to the Sandy Hook parents. They have yet to see one copper-clad penny of it. Now, they are trying to settle for a lesser amount.

Having the orange butthole declare bankruptcy would be worth it.

Or maybe a lien on properties that he has tarnished?

“Alex Jones can't use bankruptcy to avoid paying Sandy Hook families nearly $1.1 billion, judge rules
Jones filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last year and more recent financial documents submitted by his attorneys put his personal net worth around $14 million.”https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna121393

The Orange one has a net worth of 2.6 billion. She’ll get her money.

Why is there so much cynicism around the Sandy Hook plaintiffs receiving anything at all? I can accept that they won't get the $1.1 billion.

As I posted above, they haven't received so much as one penny.

AND ----

the plaintiffs are negotiating for a lower payment in order to receive something. (That has appeared on D.U. on several occasions.)

The bond is required if he doesn't pay right away.

He has to pay right away or post a bond that assures the money is in escrow, no matter what.

91 criminal indictments and judgements in the millions isn't anything I can dismiss as 'never gonna happen', so yeah, I think Ms. Carroll will soon be making a few trips to her bank with a sweet deposit slip in hand.
