We have got to get DeJoy out of our mail system!

This is getting completely ridiculous! We are getting dunned because mail sent out to us on the 5th doesn't get to us until after the 13th! (This just happened to us and cost us a total of $131.00)

Some days we get no mail at all. Other days, we'll get two... even three mail drops. Seriously... and those extra maildrops aren't usually made by mailtrucks - they're made by UPS!

Anyone else seeing this? Do we we still have a complaint page up on whitehouse.com? Can we bring these types of complaints? This is really getting ridiculous. We live on a (very) fixed budget, and these are things are you can't budget for. DeJoy is costing us real money, and real peace of mind. Not to mention, you have no idea when a certain piece of mail sent out will get to it's needed drop.

Sen Kaine and some local state elected officials held a town hall on it. Kaine and Warner sent a letter to some part of the USPS hierarchy about a meeting. USPS said No. they can do that I guess.

some of the Dems.

I have written and posted on this for years, even before Biden apppointed anyone to the board of directors. I showed, before he did, that Dejoy, given the names being floated, very likely would not get the sacking.

That prediction has been shown to be correct so far.

I see the magazine in the store and my subscription says it expires in 2025 but haven’t been getting the magazine.

...when your local store has poor quality melons?

However people feel about DeJoy, he's not telling your postmaster how to deliver mail. Unless there's evidence of a national delivery problem (I'm not having any) it's not based on a decision by the Postmaster General and the Postal Board of Governors.

which is why I came to ask if any others are having issues. Goody for you that you're not having any. May your cows always be so blessed!

Meanwhile, I guess I'll have to switch more over to online, since the one true constitutional office we're suppose to depend upon can't be depended upon. But then yea... I'm just an old lady.

The President or CEO of a company is ultimately responsible for the quality of the product or services that his company provides. So is the head of any government agency.

and the only pain point right now is the Houston sort center debacle.

I do think that looking toward the future, DeJoy needs to go - he pretends he knows all about logistics, but he doesn't get the USPS at all, not even a little bit. The only real positive change (and it has been really good) is ground advantage.

Its been years since I've paid or received a bill in the mail, though. My business deals with parcels only.

12. Why is UPS delivering our our USPS mail?

At one point in time, they weren't even allowed to touch our mailboxes!

Wasn't Houston one of the hubs that had so many of sorter machines trashed? He's done so much, it's hard to keep up!

It’s important to remember that the type and quantity of mail has changed dramatically over the last decade and a half and the removal of sorting machines so many on this board have been agonizing over since the last election are OLD LETTER SORTERS!

The volume of #10 envelopes, that type of mail those machines were designed to sort, has fallen dramatically over the past 15 years and there is an ongoing, nationwide program to replace them with updated equipment more suited to handle what is being fed into the system.

Please let this idea go. The fact that those machines are being torn out is part of the problem only insofar as it takes time to completely retool a facility that can be as much as 10 acres under one roof.

As far as UPS delivering your Mail, it’s likely your local PO has contracted with them to handle certain routes on certain days.

I see UPS and FEDEX trucks in the distribution centers I frequent all the time.

US Mail contractors are in their facilities as well.

It’s not out of the ordinary
