I didn't know Lisa Lopez-Galvan personally ,but I know many who did.

I am close to the family whose late mother, then daughters Radio Show Lisa took over when she moved.
Lisa ran many parties and events that I went to in years past, I'm sure I've had to have met her in passing, although I'm terrible with faces.
Lisa did so much for my local city community, my Neighbor knew her, several people I know knew her.
She volunteered so much of her time to the betterment of the Latino community here.
I also saw where Taylor Swift donated 100,000 bucks to her families gofundme.
I can't name you a Taylor Swift song, but call me a Swifty.
I don't really know why I'm posting this other than to emphasize what a great loss this lady was, and what the most joyous day one can imagine was torn apart by a senseless gun act.
We should be talking about Travis butchering "Friends in low places" and about Next years Parade when they 3-peat another win.
But we can't.
We are hurting in KC over this.
Don't send thoughts, send Anger.
Because we are angry.

We're angry, we're hurt, we're emotional, and we've suffered a great loss for a great city--it's almost like we LOST the Super Bowl. I didn't know Lisa, was not familiar with her radio show, but from all I've heard and read about her, it's clear she touched a lot of people in a good way; our city is much poorer for losing her.

And now, we have to convert our pain and anger into action, to do something about the damn guns, and the conditions that brought about this tragedy, so that it never happens again.

I wish we had a video of governor parsons running from the gunfire--it would be great in a campaign ad.

At least he was booed on stage.
I hope we don't let this event change us from having the big parades.
I didn't go to any of the Chief ones, but I did go to the KC Royals parade.
These things are massive.
I hate when we let tragedy rob us of future joy.
