Trucker in Viral Video Calling for NYC Boycott Over Trump Backs Down: He deleted the video.

Trucker in Viral Video Calling for NYC Boycott Over Trump Backs Down
He deleted the video.

Ron FilipkowskiUpdated:1 hour agoOriginal:1 hour ago

A trucker who goes by "Chicago Ray" talked a big game on Twitter a few days ago when he posted his video that went viral on right-wing social media calling for a trucker boycott of NYC to protest the verdict in Trump's New York fraud trial. He posted the video on his twitter account (he blocks me) "@Chicago1Ray," but now maybe he heard from the people who employ him and others, because he says he wants to take it back and forget the whole thing.

Snip

Apparently, Chicago Ray's employers did care because he has quickly done a 180. After deleting the video, he posted this message on Twitter where he said he just wanted to let bygones be bygones on this boycott thing.

Home of the Obamas and all that?

Chicago Ray needs to change is name to Podunk Ray just to be safe.

I looked it up: 120,000. This boycott had zero chance of having any effect of doing anything other than costing a handful of fascist blowhards their jobs.

Running from an intermodal rail terminal in NJ into the city. Hard to boycott delivering to NY when that's 100% of your runs.

Not just trains, but long haul trucks go into the intermodals, where you are correct that short haulers take the stuff into the city.

Can you just imagine the scrambling going on right now. Betcha grocery store shelves are empty, or very close to it.

The suburbs better be ready. It’s not going to be pretty with people flooding out of NYC looking for food.

NYC grocery stores will probably be empty by noon tomorrow

Don't be surprised to see panic buying soon empty the New York City food shelves.

Every day this goes on will cost the city at least as much of whatever they might have got from Trump.

I hope this is true.

How is this going to overturn a corrupt judiciary system?
