A trucker named Chicago Ray took a U-turn on Monday, February 19, a few days after he posted a video on social media calling for a truckers boycott of New York City to protest the court ruling in former US President Donald Trump's New York fraud trial.

Ray, who released the video on his X (formerly Twitter) account ‘@Chicago1Ray’, now claims that he wants to take his stance back and forget about it. The driver stressed that he "is not encouraging anyone to do anything" ...

4. Just an assumption that truckers are all MAGA

A lot of Truckers are part of unions and vote Dem.

One of the most liberal guys I know is a long haul trucker. And he looks the part of a long haul trucker. Big burly bald guy with a beard, and a penchant for wearing flannel shirts and trucker caps. He's got a milion stories of people assuming he's a Trumpster at truck stops and him taking the time to let them know he's a Democrat.

and I can say from experience that the majority of truckers ARE NOT MAGAt's.
They don't want to take the loads? Fine, no problem, I'd start taking the loads and be laughing all the way to the bank.

Owner/Operators who start denying loads are soon known industry wide and run the risk of being black balled by companies.
