Or are the Supremes saying that the Democrats are to nice do what republicans would do, so nothing to be afraid of?

(9,879 posts)They could grant Trump immunity based only on the specific acts of his case and declare their decision will not be precedent for immunity in the future. Yes, I am that cynical to think they will do that.

(20,942 posts)If he loses they will make sure no such immunity exists. If the coup works in November they will usher in the dictatorship. The Supreme Court is as evil as all GOP organizations and no ruling of late goes against this idea.

(94,933 posts)There's a distinction between doing something that's criminal and doing something you have no ability to do. The President can't dissolve the Supreme Court any more than it can dissolve Congress. Who would actually enforce this ruling:?
