Lauren Boebert's Son Allegedly Robbed Woman With Brain Tumor, Committed Crimes With Girl He Made Sex Tape With

The felony charges that Representative Lauren Boebert's eighteen-year-old son, Tyler, got hit with on Tuesday, February 27, stem from a series of car thefts in Rifle, where he and some underage friends robbed several people, including a woman with a brain tumor who said she had just $75 "left to her name," according to police.

Investigators say Tyler and his pals were caught on surveillance cameras using credit cards that they swiped from their victims' parked cars at multiple locations on February 19 and February 20, according to their arrest affidavit, which was released by the Garfield County Clerk of Court. Among other places, the cards were used at the Kum & Go in the 100 block of East 26th Street in Rifle and a Love's Travel Stop in Parachute, where Tyler and his cohorts were caught on video.

During police interviews, one of the suspects was identified by another minor as a female whom Tyler "supposedly made a sex tape with," according to the affidavit, with the tape sent around to people they knew.

The crime ring is reportedly made up of three males, including Tyler, and the female. Police have accused them of stealing people's wallets and credit cards and attempting to run up tabs with them. One denied purchase for $717 was made on shein.com, which is an online style and accessory marketplace for independent brands and sellers. Another, for $175, was made at the Kum & Go.

I hope he can get his shit together for the sake of his child. I feel sorry for the mom of his son; she is going to have to deal with this family for quite some time.

34. It isn't so much the "trouble" and problems, it is the moralizing and hypocrisy...

People sometimes make poor choices, sometimes there are things going on that we can't see and don't understand that influence people's actions.

I like to deal more with working on those issues to prevent problems and help people heal. It is in the case of people like Boebert and other Conservatives that my less charitable side is engaged.

They presume to know "the answers" and moralize and try to tell other people how they should be living. They blame Trans people and "modern culture" and other things but when it comes to their own situation, they try to mitigate their own responsibility even as they declare themselves the "party of personal responsibility".

They are frauds, liars, and authoritarians. They want to legislate their own personal morality, which they do not even follow. They are hypocrites of the highest order, which is why when stories like this come up when I would usually have and show compassion and understanding, I will often have a sense of indignation. Not for the victims, not for the poor child who has to grow up with a delinquent father and idiot grandparents, and not for the girlfriend whose mistake was being attracted to and getting pregnant by said delinquent.

People are complicated. We all struggle. We all are prone to, and make poor choices in life sometimes. Fortunately for many or even most of us, those poor choices don't hurt us too bad or don't hurt other people. Most of us learn from our mistakes and grow up and get a little wiser from our experiences. My problem is the Conservatives not only don't grow, they don't learn and they don't care. They think they are superior even though all of the evidence shows that they are just as messed up, and many times even worse. They try to control people and punish them when they can't even control themselves. They ask for "privacy" and respect when they show no respect for others. People like Boebert and Greene (who loves showing pictures of Hunter Biden's genitals) actually think the they are on the side of "righteousness" and act morally superior when they are the epitome of TRASH. Normally, I would say, "you know, I wouldn't do that, but what they do is not my business..." except they are trying to pass draconian laws and institute a theocracy when they can't even act like decent people.
