It would have been a perfect Trumpish rebuttal had she:
1. Worn an apron.
2. Pulled a tray of freshly baked cookies out of her oven.
Since the MAGA idea of a women's place is in the kitchen or the maternity ward, not including those two things spoiled her little kitchen counter chat with America.

(9,081 posts)And a Mug Shot tee shit. There was a Merch booth outside the house chamber. Kid Rick and Nugent were manning the table for their Star.
Two members wore their purchase inside the chamber, promoting the traitorous ass hole that sent the cult inside to attack it.

(19,217 posts)I used to work in the theater. She reminded me of a first-time college student auditioning for a role in a play.
Over-emoting to the max because she read in a textbook that you have to while acting on stage.
Acting on stage and for TV are two different animals. She failed to realize that.
It was a pitiful performance. 👎

(9,193 posts)My own kitchen is tiny and still in original condition, but I have dreams!!!
MineralMan
(146,412 posts)It had its original kitchen. I briefly considered new cabinets and counters, but decided that the cost wouldn't increase the value of the house all that much. So, the old painted wood cabinets got stripped and repainted and I installed brand new 21st century modern hardware. The house sold just fine. I did replace the 70s gas range, too, with a bright, shiny new one. Kept the old fridge, though.

(9,193 posts)Kate has (HORROR!) old-style chrome hardware!!!
SWBTATTReg
(22,550 posts)it was old, and it was huge. It was like the Cadillac of stoves, w/ rounded edges, chrome all over, etc. (a Magic Chef), I hated getting rid of it, I loved cooking stuff in it. It didn't have all of those fancy timers or the like, but it worked fine. Sometimes you strike it rich w/ the particular appliance that you have, so you do want to hang onto them (unlike apparently some appliances that are having issues within the first couple of years or so, that I've read recently, e.g., San Fransisco CA and refrigerators.)
It does seem like a hit and miss still, in todays' world w/ appliances and of course, the prices have gone way up.
