"Insane," being a word, has a specific meaning. It has not been used in the field of mental health/ illness for many years, with but one exception. It is used in the court system, when forensic mental health experts determine if a defendant is fot to stand trial, and/or responsible for their actions. The defendant in no manner is "ciminally insane."

He is, rather, a sociopath, fully fit for trial, and 100% responsible for his crimes.
