There is an entire political party that is down with this rapist, traitor being in the oval again.

I don’t want to hear about Reps hand wringing in the congressional coat room.

Dems should set up a mic on the Capitol steps and invite any Republican congressman or senator that disagrees with the nomination of TSF to come on down and publicity denounce him.

Otherwise I call bullshit! They are ALL IN.

Maybe at some point I died and this is the punishment selected for me. If tRump gets back in, he will never leave. It breaks my heart; maybe that's the point. What's really astounding is that what is happening to us is what must have happened to Germany with Hitler. Why people would actually think that this pasty-faced monster will benefit them is beyond me.

I think that people available today think they are living inside some game where there are no real consequences, and that they can undo any bad choice they make. This will be to play for keeps, and they have no idea of what he will really do, except that people who worked for him or knew him are warning us that he means it.

The people who back him think that they will get a do over in four years. They think that our government will not be changed and that elections will be available to them. All their private little hells aside, how will we fix this?

And when they realized they have been royally fucked and think their almighty war toys will allow them to end the dictator hell, that’s when the GQP WILL come after their precious guns. And all the damn gun stores and gun shows will no longer exist.
Too damn use to being able to start over when they lose a video game with a clean slate, nobody really dies.

Because they make money at it. It’s all about money for them. Trump, santos, green, all of them find a way to shill and massage their pitiful, pathetic egos at the same time.

If any of them had to go out and really make money from an enterprise, they couldn’t do it. Trump and green— inherited wealth. Santos? I don’t even need to comment on that one.

Take the $$ and the ego massage out of it and they would on the street, holding out a tin can to get a few bucks to go to a fast food joint.

if *rump weren't both wealthy and corrupt, it probably wouldn't happen but the combination is like a Venus Flytrap for the political party and their corporate media enablers without any morals.

If there is no solid moral foundation base, you can't build anything and the GOP power structure is straight up and extremely narrow, designed to serve only those at the very top, so *rump or another corrupt oligarch have for all practical purposes become their only choices.

Thanks for the thread raccoon.

It goes with selling the great commercial mythology of perpetual debt and social insecurity of the "American Dream" life-style. Including false equivalence, distorted and incomplete history, moral relativity, and personal firearms as a constitutional requirement. Orwell couldn't possibly have imagined just how far we've come.

We've been living in that Twilight Zone since Nixon. He was a criminal who not only tried to subvert the election process by breaking into opponent's offices (among other crimes), but also committed literal treason when he interfered in the Vietnam peace process.

Reagan was also a traitor when he promised arms to Iran to disrupted Carter's deal to release the hostages--another subversion of the electoral process.

Every GQP POTUS since Hoover has been a criminal. And, yes, I count Ike in that number for the many democratically elected leaders he had overthrown and even assassinated (like Lumumba in the new Congo Republic).
