3. Thought about this before.

If I was the judge I’d have Trump stand in front of me and threaten him with contempt and time in Rikers.

THEN - I’d summon the chief of Trump’s secret service detail and ask him if he charged Trump with contempt and time in Rikers, if:
a) he would interfere with court’s orders
b) would interfere with court police officers
c) would go into Rikers with him?

I’d guess the chief of the detail might be stumped, and the judge ordering him to contact the service's HQ and find out. “And let me know. Because this just got real.”

Corrections officers, or at least every one I've ever known, are notoriously right-wing. They'd fawn all over Mango Mussolini, lend him their phones, get him McDonald's hamberders, drugs, you name it.

Trump in jail/prison isn't going to be anything like jail/prison for the regular person. The only thing he'd do without is his gold-plated crapper.

Most are pretty dim bulbs, and many are "on the take" in one way or another to supplement their incomes.

I knew quite a few of them from a tavern I used to frequent after my divorce in the late 70s. They were exactly what you'd imagine any Trump cult member would be like. Big, dumb, liked to assert their "authority", and uneducated. Mostly guys who wanted to be cops, but were too stupid or had criminal records themselves.

Not nice people, and they'd slobber all over Donald Trump.

and that it was just my misfortune to meet the dregs of the corrections officers. The ones I ran across really were the lowest beings you'd ever want to meet, though.
