T-shirts and coffee cups with the logo? Why would anyone where a news station's logo? Are these stores actually profitable?

They always sell some light snacks and drinks, plus newspapers and magazines. Not sure if it was because I was hungry every time I passed one and wasn't focused on anything except food, but I never really saw any CNBC-branded merchandise. Of course, this is CNBC and not FOX, so who knows with them.

Actually Dallas is FULL of great places to eat.

You don't even have to carry a concealed weapon to enjoy them, although some of the locals aren't aware of that.

....you ought to know better than to dump on entire states, given the kind of idiotic state and regional trashing that is allowed to go on around here. Why the hell should we have to "handle it by now"? It's tough enough trying to bring about change a red state---why should we meekly agree to be treated like lower caste trash by our supposed political allies? "Handle it" my ass. "Relax"? Not bloody likely.........

Not if you are Texan.

When you cross the Sabine, the Rio Grande, or the Red, the world changes just a bit.

Texas is Texas...

The rest...

is just The Rest.

I split my time between Wine Country and NYC.

There ain't no Texas in either place.

Propaganda
24/7/365
they pay for that exposure

same things for default stations in bars/sports bars/restaurants/diners/hotel lobby

you enter and its there.

Some will change it if asked, but the damage is done-most don't bother but if there is something of interest on screen, guess what viewpoint the viewer will hear?

One needs to (though you can't avoid airports if traveling) but in places where at least the owner would think you are coming back, make them know you will never come back because fox was on.

In our area there are lots of diners. One plays Fox and won't turn it off. Guess who doesn't give his money to? Me. Their loss. And their food wasn't bad, and service ok.
But why should I sit there with that staring me in the face?

and back in 2008 after election, the idiot owner had the audacity to say to me, well you won, America lost. Only one who lost was the owner not having my business, and anyone who I told whom I could convince not to go there.
