I worked for decades as a systems analyst for the Alberta Government. Occasionally in meetings the users would demand drastic, unrealistic or impossible changes to the system. I had a can of salmon that I re-labelled WORMS that I would take out and fiddle with until my boss caught me and told me to knock it off.
My understanding is that if Trump testifies the prosecutors can drag in a whole bunch of extra issues that are sure to make headlines, even on Fox News.
Apparently no lawyer in their right mind would allow this, but even though Trumps donors are paying a literal fortune for these people, either theyre even more incompetent than we suspected or hes stopped listening to them.
Dammit wheres my worm can?

(23,620 posts)Prosecutors will be bringing their #50 cans of it if TSF gets on the stand. I'm sure his attorneys will loose the sumo wrestlers on him if he takes one step toward the witness chair. He may find out what "Release the Kraken" REALLY means.

(945 posts)His lawyers won't object to outside issues being brought in because they're busy trying to figure how they're going to get him to pay them when he's going bankrupt and probably going to prison.
Maybe can make himself his own lawyer and then appeal the guilty verdict on the grounds of his lawyer's incompetence.
