One man has seized the attention of America.

He didn't do it alone. He was backed by billionaires and right-wing organizations to whom democracy is a blockade to the world they want to own and rule.

Trump is their perfect and (unknowing) tool. He wants to be king. He's clueless that he's just the means that the American fascists required to finally destroy democracy and instill their absolute control and power.

These people loudly backed Nazi Germany until Pearl Harbor. After that, they shut up until the war ended. It took them decades to reach the point of being on the verge of seizing absolute power. This November will tell weather or not they succeed. And if they do, the vast majority will find themselves in a world in which they are, for lack of a better word, enslaved.

Vote.

And one announcer in particular would always say that this election (whichever one it was) was the most important election of our lifetime. This time he’s right, but the reason he’s right is exactly wrong.

10%, 25% annually from them so that they can do business from Russia?

The Uber rich here pay a lower percentage overall in taxes. Think paying 25% or more to one man, if re-elected, will demand be paid to him make them think twice? I doubt it.

In a Dictatorship, NOTHING gets past the DICKtator!

You know that's where they're headed. If it was good enough for the Founding Fathers then it's good enough for us, amirite Justice Alito? As far back as 2011 Michele Bachmann proposed doing away with the minimum wage, and I frankly expected more movement towards slavery during TSF's term.

Plus prison industry is used to keep prices low for a lot of corporations.

But yes, Project 2025 aims to repeal the Fair Labor Standards Act which provided for the minimum wage and overtime pay, gut anti-discrimination protections, require record-keeping, and child labor standards.

Project 2025 would prohibit the EEOC from gathering employment data based on race. That would make it practically impossible to prove discrimination in wages, promotions, or working conditions.

Plus they want to upend labor unions by allowing states to opt out of labor standards from the Fair Labor Standards Act and the National Labor Relations Board, allow worker-management councils to supplant unions, and require public elections instead of more anonymous ways of voting.

Truthout's article is a good summary of what they intend regarding labor.

https://truthout.org/articles/project-2025-threatens-not-only-workers-livelihoods-but-also-their-verylives/

Project 2025 is draconian. It has much more to it, sometimes couched in glowing generalities. But Stop the Coup 2025 [https://www.stopthecoup2025.org/] is working feverishly to break it down into easy to understand language. For instance, Project 2025 wants to move toward ending farm subsidies. Federal workers would lose work protections and jobs, and be replaced by Trump loyalists.

I didn't understand the context nor the subtleties of humanity.

I devoured Tolstoy and Dostoevsky when I was in my early teens; many of the French authors in late teens. Wish I had enough time to go back and reread all of them with a somewhat more educated viewpoint - but new wonderful works are coming out constantly!

Too Many Books - Not Enough Time!

Trump wouldn't have lasted one week in office, except for the 24/7/365 support of all the Republican Senators for starters....
Throw in a couple of Dems, Munchkin and Semena.

And don't forget all the corrupt Republicans in the House........Then of course, the massive money from Republican Oligarchs.
Add in the psyops from Russia, and their oligarchs, as well as the Chinese, N. Korea, and the Saudi's......

It's like when the Republicans corruptly and having committed Treason, installed Reagan in office. He was already deteriorating mentally when he took office. In all reality, it was HW that led the way for them to put Reagan in Office. That eight years was totally being run by HW, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and many more. They stayed when HW had his four years, to cover up things, and to pardon 100+ members of Reagan's administration who were indicted. Then the same group re-united to put W in office and totally run things all over again...Did I say run things? I meant ruin things.........Obama gave them the best gifts of all, when he decided, more or less, to adopt an attitude of, let's go forwards not backwards.......

Then came Trump, and it was childs play for him to win the 2016 election, with all their experience they gained on how to corrupt elections in 1980, 2000, 2004. The Republican's Platform should be: The Means Justifys the End Result.

Once again: 2024 and the 2024 election will be unlike anything ever seen during the entire history of this nation, by far.......
