However, you can "always change your mind" about becoming a delegate or decide that the "exposure isn't what I wanted"...

I'm a state delegate (which isn't anything near a national delegate). Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the state convention this year because I truly do have a family issue. It's not that big of a deal with state delegates because our state candidates are determined by primary. The RNC will need to replace Barron because the presidential nomination is determined by delegates.

I recall how GOP trashed Chelsea Clinton for her looks (at those awkward pre- and teenage stages) and otherwise demonized her bc of their hatred for her parents.

Perhaps, at 18, he is not an idiot. He is out there in the real world. I have no idea how he can possibly cope with a last name of Trump, can you even imagine what has come down on him? But what if he is a sane and rational kid. What if he is considering the future his father has planned for the US, for years after his father is dead but little Barron is still having to deal with it. Does he want to live with THAT legacy? He may be sane, we don't know. It is kind of sad that in the recent pictures I have seen of him, he inherited his father's anal mouth...
