"SNIP............
A new CBS News poll finds 56% say Donald Trump is definitely or probably guilty of a crime in his recent trial, in which he has been charged with falsifying business records to hide a hush money payment and influence the 2016 election.
The public is more split on what they think the jury will decide, with about half expecting jurors to find Trump guilty and half saying the opposite.

(52,123 posts)There is in my opinion just a slim chance of a hung jury.
The schedule the judge created for the summation and the time for the jury to decide should help.

(2,069 posts)But if I were betting on the outcome then Id say the verdict is Not Guilty. Cohen has all sorts of flaws as the key witness for the defense. Not Guilty would be worse than charging him in the first place. Hell spend the next five months until Election Day crowing about how he was charged in a sham trial and exonerated by a jury. Even a hung jury will lead to the same claims by Trump.

Whether or not he'll ever serve time for any of it remains to be seen.
