Lost in all the champagne corks flying... NY Court of Appeals grants Trump permission to sue Mary Trump.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/donald-trump-sue-niece-over-161215365.html

NEW YORK (Reuters) -A New York state appeals court said Donald Trump can sue his niece Mary Trump for giving the New York Times information for its Pulitzer Prize-winning 2018 probe into his finances and his alleged effort to avoid taxes.

The Appellate Division in Manhattan found a "substantial" legal basis for Donald Trump to claim that his niece violated confidentiality provisions of a 2001 settlement over the estate of his father, Fred Trump Sr.

A five-judge panel said it was unclear whether Mary Trump's disclosures were subject to confidentiality, or how long both sides intended the provisions to remain in effect.

to cover the legal fees. Donald likes to break people financially with endless litigation until they give up and he wins.

So, donations to a Mary Trump fund would help her pay for good attorneys and stay in the fight to defeat him. I'm sure that a lot of DUers would contribute. I would.

So if anyone sees one on social media, please post a link to it here.

Let me explain exactly what I meant...

The new has been "Guilty on 34 Counts" non-stop for the last 24 hrs and for that reason... most of us and the rest of the planet missed the other news out of NY Courts.

Chastise?

Strange for you to belittle the historical nature of what occurred yesterday to bring up something that you personally didn't r read about when it happened.

Or maybe not so strange.

And to stop spilling the beans about him.

It is unlikely she has the $100 million he wants.

... be awarded IF he prevails. I believe it was like $10,000 (?).

When I was in Akron, I was wanting to sue someone for a slander that cost me a job opportunity, that was provably false. I went to my bulldog attorney who told me I had a case but that the award could be as low as the "lowest coin of the realm).

...and the few he has, he didn't get far. The question is: if he had his tax dodge made confidential, does that mean IRS has to ignore the evidence? Doe he really want light shed on the agreement in court? She's got enough of his money to defend herself.

As soon as he's required to testify, under oath, he'll back out.

And if he does testify he'll be eviscerated by her attorney, and he knows it.

She showed just how his business committed fraud and when it was looked for, it was found in spades.

Too bad she was unable to sue him for the fraud he obviously committed against her.
