HorseRace Media determines how to cover F34.

Call all their Maga leadership sources for their reactions, knowing full well that their ‘reactions’ are programmed talking points.

Present the results as expert analysis.

Interview their call list of Maga ‘normal people’, all of whom are fully invested in the cult and have ingested the same talking points.

Present the results as the ‘sense of the people’.

The HorseRace Media then determines that based on the facts on hand, no need to worry The Race is On!

If a Dem did 1/100th of what trump did then it would be Repukes on to condemn Dems, followed by them demanding Dems apologize for the actions

There are overtly right-wing channels and a few overtly left-wing programs that largely preach to their respective choirs, and what remains pretends to be neutral and objective when in fact they are quite right wing and can only get away with pretending to be neutral because the overtly right-wing channels are so extreme.

However the media has a vested financial interest in ‘a horse race’ regardless of their political ideology.

They started rooting for a clean sweep. They only want a horse race when the Republican is trailing.
