My idea for the next debate.
12 members of Congress from each party are allowed 2 questions each for each candidate. They are asked the exact same question. The candidate will have as much or as little time needed to answer. Congress persons who ask questions are the only audience and two moderators from different networks to keep things under control mikes are turned off etc. Applause is allowed after answering the question.
