It appears, based on reporting, that the shooter was abused as a child. It isn’t clear what kind of abuse, but then someone discovered his twitter profile. (EDIT: I have no way to confirm this was the shooter’s actual twitter account.) It says

And it seems no coincidence that the Epstein documents were just unsealed and had Trump’s name all over them.
