That would be my biggest hope for the gop after this last election.
I dont like having one sane party and one crazy party. Our system is designed so people are forced to work together at times even if they are on opposite sides of the aisle. It would be nice if both sides could be relied on to do whats best for the country instead of what we have now one adult party and one coo coo for cocoa puffs party. (C.C.C.P party)
You were wrong about Obama in 08. Hannity day after day pronounced that because of obamas ties to terrorists and his being a socialist, obama was 'unelectable'. the american people just would never put someone like that in office.
You were wrong to oppose him on EVERYTHING because you figured stalled out government would help the gop and bring the gop mcconnells big wet dream about making obama a one termer.
You were wrong to hold the debt ceiling hostage and put our credit rating at risk.
You were wrong to hope that obama and the country would fail.
You were wrong to oppose and demonize obamacare thinking that it would never get passed the supreme court instead of helping get it passed and change any issues you had with it.
You were wrong to oppose obamas jobs bill.
You were wrong to believe that tax cuts for rich people create jobs and that the american people would agree with you.
You were wrong about WMD.
You were wrong about voter ID.
You were wrong about social issues blocking progress instead of joining with the american people to move forward.
You were wrong about how much crap women and minorities would put up with and still vote for you.
You were wrong that any of those losers you put up in the primaries would have a shot against obama. Romney probably did the best any of them were going to do and he got blown out.
You were wrong to believe the country is center-right. Ask colorado and washington about that.
You were wrong that pandering to old white southern males was the way to still win elections.
And you were WAY wrong about all your polling predictions.
Fire dick morris. fire hannity. fire limbaugh. fire rasmussen. turn off fox and talk radio and join back with the rest of us here in reality so we can have sensible discussions again between two sensible parties and come to real compromises for the good of the country and the american people.
We shall be waiting. 8-)
