This man has been completely disrespectful to Joe Biden and is deep in the pockets of the fossil fuel industry.

(24,041 posts)Why would you wreck Kamala's first term by hanging this mega-rich coal mine owner on her, who approves of every tax break for big business but none for working class folks? This would show nothing but rank hypocricy and Kamala won't play that, I'd bet.

(277 posts)Cant think of anything more fun than watching debates of Vance and Manchin. Such fun!
Pretty likely most voters would ignore the entire VP ticket for either one.
Many years ago I couldn't stand either candidate in an election and I actually did a write-in for "Mickey Mouse". Mickey would be an improvement of either.

(10,250 posts)... he's even endorsed her, yet? I expect he may... I don't think he would not be a good VP pick, but he could be helpful. I'm not sure what contact they've had. They may be friendly and have possibly worked together during WH-Senate negotiations. A rally announcement of Joe Manchin endorsing Kamala would be welcome. How about an ad - Bernie Sanders on the left and Manchin on the right... saying "I'M WITH HER!"
agingdem
(8,529 posts)continue on to Manchin is pretty much hated in the Democratic Party because he did everything he could to subvert Biden's agenda including voting against codifying Roe v Wade...plus he is a wholly owned subsidiary of the coal industry...
so Harris's VP pick...no fucking way!
KentuckyWoman
