He even went batshit crazy when she was not baiting him.

I watched on PBS. Afterward, during the analysis, even the Republican strategist said bluntly that Trump did poorly because he took the bait and rambled about his grievances instead of putting forth solid plans for the future. A PBS commentator said it is late in the campaign so there probably won't be another debate between them. The rest said it's unlikely that the Trump campaign would agree to one after tonight and chuckled.

I have BBC radio on right now and they said that, although both sides will claim a win, the Trump campaign will not convince many people that Trump won. They described Trump as rambling off into some of his rally style comments and grievances while Harris presented good policy points and successfully went on the offense against Trump.

Some was so subtle--did you notice his quick cringe when she mentioned bringing in a "new generation"?

She called him weak and he immediately called her weak at least 5 times in the next 10 minutes.

I wish she had done one thing, and I understand why she didn't, she was going for subtlety, but when he said America was a "laughingstock" to the rest of the world, I so wish she had asked if he wasn't mistaking America for himself, or words to that effect. He is, after all, the laughingstock.

Just kidding. They'll talk about how he's a master of connecting with his voters and staying true to his no-holds-barred rhetorical style.

And then they'll wonder aloud if Harris seems too focused on winning the presidency, and does this suggest some underlying weakness?
