My friend cannot tolerate smoking and will need to ingest the medicine.
Way "back in the day" I had a brownie that knocked me down for hours and I was an "experienced" user if you know what I mean.
My concern is getting the right amount for her to relive her symptoms but without incapacitating her.
Thanks for any help.

Look into getting a vaporizer too if "smoke " is the only issue. Vaporizers allow much more control of dosage.

a couple of bites is good for a low dose, then you have to wrap it back up and put it away for later.

(22,271 posts)A couple month back I made some cannabis brownies -- no specific recipe, just used the box brownie mix and threw in a whole lotta ground up ganja. Later on I got the sweet munchies and ate one big one and a half of another one. About two hours later, holy criminee, I was hangin' on to the bed for dear life. I'm a heavy pot smoker and that buzz lasted for 2 days. I will NEVER do that again.

The beauty of it is that it wears off faster than eating it does. I make it with chamomile and catnip for a good night's sleep, and I wake up truly rested, without any next-day logyness.
It's vile straight, but it's palatable mixed with root beer, of all things.
