These people are indeed, stupid, and I hate saying this, but when they say stuff like this, how can you not?

This doesn't help them either on the mental end. No wonder that they're running behind in urban renewals, job creation in their areas, and all other sorts of good stuff, and their rural areas are continuing to suffer for the most part. Why are people continuing to move into the cities? That's where the jobs are, where the vast amount of job creation is, and I suspect, where new factories get built at, where most of the infrastructure is at, and there is a larger supply of qualified labor to draw upon.
