Just wanted to add this tweet :

John Nichols ?@NicholsUprising
DetroitFreePress: "Riot gear is ready if needed, Michigan Police say." If you need riot gear to pass & sign law, might be a bad law. @edshow

Although I seriously doubt it is the protesters making "riot gear" necessary. That seems to be the default response to ANY attempt at protest lately, here in neoAmerica.

But, yes, that tweet should go viral.

the process that was used to bring this to a vote... Maybe this lawsuit will find this law illegally passed, and throw it out...

That's why they delayed the vote until today. By waiting until today, the legislature were within the law.

I don't think that it can be stopped now.

This law excludes police and firefighter unions. The lawsuit to which I refer points that out, and will try to have the law overturned via the Equal Protection laws. I heard on NPR, just a short time ago, that there may also be some recalls in the future. It ain't over 'til it's over.

It would have to be filed in federal court, not state court. Hopefully, that is done.

your retirement, your vacation time, your 40 hour work week, and have your pay dropped to $4 per hour.

There is no such thing as 'right to work'. It's is to 'workers rights' what the tea party is to grass roots.

About the will of the people and how great the influence of corporate interests are. Were most of these Republicans voted out in Nov? Is that way they are impervious to voter demands?
