All of us on DU can identify the problems. We skillfully articulate and define the problems.

What we seem to lack are long, in depth discussions about how we intend to respond to these problems. Spitballing sessions about actions, direct, indirect, and passive are not flowing back and forth.. Am I wrong in my thinking here, or am I looking in the wrong forums? Is it too soon? Are we on our own, left to our own devices when it comes to response. I admit, I’m kinda lost here. Seems like an entire storeroom of potential, imaginative resources or practical ideas is going untapped.

is spending a bazillion dollars to sign Shohei Ohtani and adding him to a highly-talented squad with an already HUGE payroll. Then winning is pretty much a given!

Sorry, Magoo. Couldn't help it.

I have few answers on the political front. There are some areas we need to shore up and we have a great team to tackle that, but I hope that as Trump makes messes here and there and alienates all but his core MAGAts, things will swing back in our favor. Having a stronger social media presence could help us Dems too, IMO.

A direct action would be to sacrifice pro baseball for college or semipro games.

In your second paragraph, seems like total reliance on the team from above. What can we do personally to not support the billionaire owned concerns who backed him?
