There are more gun shops in America (58,000+) than there are Starbucks...in the ENTIRE WORLD.

This was reported by Kai Ryssdal on NPR's Marketplace this evening. I don't have anything particularly profound as far as a comment...I was just gob-smacked by the statistic, and felt compelled to share it.
