A warning for those who have Netflix streaming and who love Christmas movies.

STAY AWAY from a piece of rightist propaganda baloney called "Christmas with a Capital C". It is nothing but a right wing piece of horseshit that was painful to watch. I didn't turn it off because, stupidly, I kept hopin that it would get better. It didn't.

I won't bore you with any details of the movie except to say that if you've seen any right wing e-mail pass-it-on showing either how the Godless heathens who believe in respecting the religious views of others see the "error of their ways" or where the mass of "good Krischin Amurikins" band together and make the heathens leave in shame while they sing hymns, you probably have the plot of this movie . Let me just say that I can only imagine the people responsible for making this pile of crap having a great big circle jerk every time they watch a fux news report about the "war on Christmas".

There are a lot of fun and enjoyable Christmas movies on Netflix, but boy howdy, this ISN'T one of them!

I'm also posting this in the Netflix Group.

PEACE!

Good movie. I also love White Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street, the Waltons Christmas show, and so many others.

I'm a Christmas junkie.

This sounds like 49 levels of suck!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_with_a_Capital_C

I mean, it stars Ted FUCKING McGinley! And Daniel Baldwin! The peoducers must have busted the bank to pay that A-list cast! ObviouslyTom Cruise and Will Smith must have been busy.

Before looking it up, I almost expected to see Kirk Cameron's name on there.

Maybe there'll be a Rifftrax commentary of it. But it will still probably suck.

49 levels of suck describes it pretty well.

Ted McGinley has NOT aged well.

Hard to cast someone who isn't likeable,. isn't funny, isn't attractive and can't act. Her current wingnut birther schtick is the only reason people pay any attention to her.

I still pay the 8 bucks a month, but I'm not sure why. Ever since the deal with Starz fell through, they have basically zero decent movies. Some good tv, but the movies are across the board mostly crap.

I do confess, that sometimes, I LOVE a movie that's so crappy it's good!

For us, we get WAY more than our $8 worth for our entertainment. We don't miss paying for cable or dish at all!

but I've been hard pressed to find a single full length feature on there that I want to watch, lately. And I'm all for so-bad-they're-good movies, but even those seem to be in short supply.

It's too bad, because I always thought the $8/month streaming deal had potential to be great, and a game changer. I was all over it at first. But we may have to go back to having a DVD every month just because we NEVER find any movies we want on there.

Who knows, maybe thing'll get better now that they signed a contract with Disney.

There is also going to be Redbox streaming soon, too!
