You know, the part where the Israelites were instructed to mark the door-posts of their homes with the blood of a spring lamb and, upon seeing this, the spirit of the Lord knew to pass over the first-borns in these homes rather than kill them. When I watched the movie Prince of Egypt I was sick to my stomach during that scene! Very disturbing and yet people just accept that it was Ok for God to kill children because he is God.
