where someone was saved by a firearm or saved others.
Is that what you want to see?

but I pretty sure the poster did "see" and understand your point. That aside, I'm pretty sure that it is illegal for a concealed carrier to carry at the school... even if a teacher in the school had a concealed carry permit, it would be illegal for he or she to bring it into the school.

I'm very well educated on statistics. They cannot prove without a doubt that the gun was the sole reason for the thwarting.

This is a myth, that more guns would solve the problem. I guess I should have reiterated that when I made the first post, sorry, I am new here.

if so it is also a myth that violent crime rates would be effected at all by any brand of gun control.

Calling people names doesn't help right now. We have to work this out together.

And the people who are going to shoot up folks (already against the law) don't, and won't no matter how much you think they will, obey a law that tells them they cannot.

Millions of gun owners obey the law, so we should punish all because of those that do not?

My anger is at the killer, not his tools, and at why so many care about the tool used and not the causes that led to this.

But then that would require a lot of work and introspection, and it is soooo much easier to blame a piece of metal than the society that created it.

... going up against a person with a rifle while carrying a handgun is damned stupid, unless one has little choice in the matter.

Rifles and shotguns are fairly uncommon in crime, compared to handguns.
