I think people are starting to see that we need a group to counter the NRA. I don't always agree with the Brady Campaign, but I sure as hell am a lot closer to them than I am to the gun nuts at the NRA.

the brady campaign is on the verge of irrelevency even in the gun control movement. They are in questionable financial state and it's not sure how many members they have left (but i believe it is a fraction of what it once was)

It is true that the Brady campaign has been extremely weak in comparision to the NRA, but I think more and more people are starting to see the problem with the NRA's dominence of the debate. If it is not Brady then another gun control organization needs to be built up, we simply can't allow the NRA to continue to have all the political power on their side.
