I am an elementary school administrator. When I came home from work last night, my husband was in tears. This has really walloped a lot of folks. I don't think I will be sleeping well for a long time.

We went into emergency standby, waiting for the victims to arrive. We never got any. It was chilling.

All I could think about was those poor kids, lying in their own blood in the dark and cold. For three days while the police investigated the scene. Agony.

Same thing here, if not worse. The hopeful wait for survivors, the chill of reality. The school halls a tomb.

It's a nightmare all right. Those poor babies.

I slept for a while, then woke up for four hours, and then slept some more. My dreams were unrelated... but my mind and body are clearly agitated by what happened.
