A peace sign sticker and an NRA sticker
Two of my coworkers...one has a family van with a big peace sign sticker on the back window. The other guy has a lifted truck with big tires and "Liberty or Die" license frame plus NRA and Pow/Mia stickers.
Three days ago at work (I work blue collar) during lunch the truck guy was making fun of the van guy, to his face, about the peace sign decal on the van. Truck guy said, "the next thing you know you will have a rainbow sticker on there"...intimating "gay".
Strange timing considering what happened yesterday.
Truck guy is all macho and shit but has never served one day in the military. He could still sign up and perhaps needs to be asked why he hasn't. Truck guy listens to RW hate radio and works as a city street crew dude...for a local municipality...you know...the "gubmint".
The degree of hate-filled stupidity and hypocrisy I see day in and day out makes me thankful even more for Obamacare which will allow me to retire in 2014 after decades of proud service to the public.
